I have my television outputs connected to the inputs on the ILO. I then select that set of inputs with the SOURCE button rather then using the built in tuner. Make sure you connect the Video closest to the audio inputs(or... least confusing, try the three front inputs) Hook antenna to tv

More info (brand/model) might help with specific answer. what type connection your using for video. also how long have you had it. but... my guess is youve got something hooked up wrong. might be a switch to go from Composite (red/green/blue) three cable video to 1 cable rca or s-video or youve got the yellow video cable in one of the composite jacks.

please rate.

S-video imput not working

I had the same problem. Solved it by going to Set Up, Video Selection, then choosing the S- Video input jack, vs the default. Now if I could just get it to pass video when the unit is off...

Tvs usualy have a few ways to hook them up. One is a coax cable this is the silver one in the back that you screw in a cable. The second are RCA cables these are the ones that are yellow, red and white. Yellow is always the video and white and red are for audio. If your using the coax cable your tv needs to be on channel 3 or 4 you may have to force the tv to go to that channel by pushing 03 on the remote. If you are using the Rca cables then you need to change the tv to "video 1" or "video 2" this changes the tv from tunner mode to aux input mode. Most DVD players dont have a coax out so you have to use the rca plugs. Some tvs have the rca plugs on the front (video 2) and the back (video 1) or line in. Some tvs have line out also so you need to figure out wich way you have it hooked up. Do a search for the model of your tv and it should show a diagram on how to hook it up.
