Question about Toshiba 42H81 42" Rear Projection Television
My blue convergence on my Toshiba 42HDX82 is out of whack and cannot be automatically or manually adjusted. I see from threads here I need to replace my STK IC chips. On the Electronix website they are selling one version for 5.99 and another version (same number but with a O behind it for "original") for 13.99. Is there any difference between the 2. Also, it appears that I could subsitute an STK IC 392-150 instead of the 110 for longer life and less likely overheating issues. Is this correct?
I made the same repair in a Toshiba 42h81 I replaced the STK 392-110 and after a lot of searching found the cheaper ones last 6 month or so be sure to use Sanyo IC's and replace the resistors with them when the IC's let go they take the resistors out I posted my repair On my page if it will help you dennisgm052.weebly.com
