Question about LG F9200/F9100 Headset

1 Answer

Display screen I got this new phone and when i turned it on for the first time it worked fine (minus the sim card). I put it on the charger. WHen I put my sim card in and turned my phone on (about 3 hours later)the graphics on the screen were messed up. It looks like a TV screen with EXTREMELY bad reception. I can't read anything on the screen. I have tried 3 different sim cards, a new battery, and i tried my sim card in my sister's phone which is exactly like mine and my card works in hers, but her battery or any other sim card doesn't work in mine. I have concluded that its the phone not the battery or sim card (duh). I have only touched this phone twice. What could cause this and how can I get it fixed??

Looks like a LCD display problem. Send it back to where you purchased it to avail of the warranty replacement.

SOURCE: SIM Card

Verizon is a cdma network and does not use sim cards you will have to go into the store to get the phone switched (they might charge you $20) or call customer service (1-800-922-0204) or do it online yourself by logging on to the vzw my account website.

Puk code blocked

These directions are for an AT and T phone, but other than that, are the same for any carrier. A PUK (PIN Unlock Key) code is required to unlock SIM cards that have become locked following three successive incorrect PIN entries. If your SIM card becomes locked, you will need to get a PUK code from your phone carrier to unlock your SIM card. You can obtain your phone's PUK code from your carrier in one of these ways: Log in to Your account.online Use a Technical Support Chat Contact your carriers Customer Care Get Your Phone's PUK Code Online Go to the Phone/Device page. From the My Phone/Device screen, select the Unblock SIM Card link under the My Make & Model heading. The Unblock SIM screen will display your PUK code and will give you instructions for unblocking your SIM Card. Once you receive your PUK code, you will need to enter it into your phone to set a new PIN code. Note: If you enter the wrong PUK code 10 times in a row, your SIM card will be invalidated, and you will need to purchase a new SIM Card. Phone will not charge

Hello Klord3,

The problem is most likely the battery which you can purchase HERE
---If you know someone with the same phone, ask to try theres.

It's more of a personal choice of if you want to try purchasing a battery or upgrading your phone. You can then put your SIM card in the new phone and it's as simple as that. (phone must be for the same service provider as the old one)

Thank you for choosing Fixya!
