The code was wrong. After tree wrong codes and you shoud wait (acc "on"). After that you must enter the right code.

Ive bought a standard cd player to replace my cassette player. the cd player is connected but asks for an unlock code

Did you buy a stock cd player from another vehicle? If so, you may be screwed. You usually have to have the vin number of the original vehicle to obtain the code from the dealer. This insures that the radio isn't stolen. If you purchased an aftermarket radio, there shouldn't be a code. If you did buy an aftermarket cd player and it requires a code, what brand? Let me know and I will see if I can help.

Need a radio code for my jeep Ser no. TC1AA0134K1033 Pt No. P05091601AE

Keep in mind that the "radio code" is one unique security code for each vehicle devices, so, Chrysler/Jeep codes are virtually impossible to be obtained for free from anywhere on the Internet.

Generally this code is in the last pages of the owners manual or in a label located in side of radio (will need take off t check). In additiona, for the correct code you can try seek further advice here... CLICK HERE

Finally, I suggest visit your Jeep dealer and, with your VIN number and radio serial ask about this information, sometimes they send this data for free, JUST SOMETIMES.

Hope this helps.

I have recently bought a mazda mx6 v6 it has a grundig eon radio cassette s300 rds infomat which is asking for a code can you help please

stereo unlocking is done by an unlock cd and in my opinion there are three possible options.
1- you can go to ur car dealer and ask him to get an unlock cd for you.
2-you can go to a car stereo shop and ask them to unlock the radio for you
3-you can enter the model no of your car stereo in google and search for unlock cd by urself.

The car battery was replaced and when switching on the Rover radio/cassette system (remote controls on steering wheel), I get a message saying "Wait" after which get a message to key in the code....

The actual instructions will depend on the RADIO make and model so you are going to have to remove it from the dashboard to find out these details.

Most radios in the Rover are made by Philips so take a look here to see if any of these free instructions apply to your radio

If not , then post the full details on here

These codes are given by the manufacturers at will be available at the dealership or written in the car manuals. It will be good to get help from the mitsubishi dealership as this is a security code given to protect burglary.
