I've heard that warm tommato paste will get rid of almost any bad smell. At least give it a try. It's best to wear a synthetic glove when working with solvents and oils. If it tends to get on the for-arms you can get extra long gloves that will go nearly to the elbow. Otherwise you could use plastic wrap secured with tape over long shirt sleaves.

After Im done shaving with my electric shaver, do I need to use any lotion?

In order to properly care your skin, you should use a pre-shave lotion after you done shaving. First you should rinse your face with warm water then cool water. Then, you need to par your face dry and apply an after shave balm to smooth your skin.

Honing oil smell

Yes, a thin slice of lemon, rubbed on your hands. I presume the acid in the lemon is the active ingredient, so maybe other acids (vinegar, etc) might also work.

But the question you should really be asking yourself is "how do I get lemon smell off my hands?" To that I cannot answer you, but I suspect honing oil might work.

What is the seal problem? This item discontinued about 10years ago......still good or rancid oil?

It depends on whether or not the seal is airtight, and whether or not it's been in sunlight. The best thing to do is sniff it. If it smells bad, it IS bad. Even if it smells okay, you'll still need to do a skin test to make sure other ingredients haven't gone wonky. Dab some on the inside of your upper arm (your skin is relatively thin and sensitive there-- if it's okay there, it should be okay elsewhere) and wait 24 hours.
Good luck!
