Okay, try this. I had the same problem, but I finally found the solution. If you plug up your phone into the computer, and it doesn't pop up with the Hard Drive and Removable Devices, this is what you must do. {{{Settings > USB > Mass Storage}}} Then, plug it up. It should pop up then. Then you can drag and drop music files from your computer to the phone. It's rather simple once you find out what to do.Hope I was able to help guys!

Hi, please make sure you are copying your music files into this folder on the sd card \mobile\audio. Also make sure these are not m4p files from Apple iPod's. Those are not supported by your phone. It will support most every other type of music files (aac, mp3, wav, wma, real audio) Good Luck!

Well, music file format depends on the CD format. If you browse the CD-ROM can you see the files listed? See if you can read the entire filename like song1.mp3 or something similar. If it was a store bought CD you will not usually see the song titles when browsing the CD. What software did you use to copy the files from the CD to your sd card? Just windows drag & drop? When you attached your sd card to your computer make sure you are viewing all files & folders (goto Tools, Folder Options, then View tab and make sure nothing is being hidden). If you don't see the folder structure, just make it. Good Luck

Use the a usb cable to transfer the music there should be a folder called my music or something to that affect... make sure the sd card is not bigger than 4gb (you will need to download the usb drivers from Motorola's website)

SOURCE: microSD does not contain supported music files

1. Install the sd into the phone.
2. Go to Menu > Settings > USB > Mass Storage
3. Connect the MotoVE240 to your PC via USB
4. Under My Computer open drive (E:).
5. Find the folder that has your music in it. Example: My compter made a folder called Music.
6. Drag music from that folder to the my_music folder. (the phone will only read music that is in this folder.)
7. remove your phone from the usb
8. press the music note on your phone and enjoy your music

How do i load music into my new i856 by boost

according to motorola, this phone has bluetooth and micro SD card slot.
if you have computer with bluetooth, then you can pair the computer and phone and simply send music files wirelessly via bluetooth.
if you dont have bluetooth, then you can buy a cheap usb bluetooth adapter from ebay and have a bluetooth enabled computer, then follow above step.

if you have SD card slot on your computer then you can get a SD card to micro SD card slot adapter from ebay or elsewhere, where you can simply put music on then card from pc and then transfer the card to the phone.

here is the phone manual.for safety read the whole manual.
p.55 for music and p.79 for bluetooth instructions.

Having problems playing music frommy sandisk 4gb micro memory card on my motorola ve240 cell phone

I have a similar problem, the issue for me was windows media player was creating a folder called music on my sd card and uploading the music there during sync function. However, the phone only looks in the \my_music folder on the SD card. Sync your phone, then rename the newly created music folder to my_music and the player will work. Still looking for a permanent solution to this problem.

you need a micro sd card once you place the card in the slot provided under ther battery.. Go to setting select USB make sure Mass stororage is selected.. after that you can add songs by bluetooth or if you have a motorola usb cord compatible to your version you can connect your computer to your phone and sync it to WMP or with the USB that comes with the micro sd to add music

Using wmp to sync to mini sd card for a moto ve240 mp3 player

the device has to format the card. at this time the phone will create folders for music, videos, images, and what not. now when you insert the card into your computer you will open the card and copy the files to the music folder. this will allow access to the files from the handset visual platform.
Good Luck and please rate this solution!! :D

The music file might not be recognized by your phone. try with different format files.

Still if it not works, Restore your phone to factory settings and then try again.

Hope this helps.

Pictures on lg shine won't show on computer.

I think the problem might be that your phone is set to save pics you take with shine to phone instead of card. Try opening your camera, click "options", click "primary storage", then select "memory card". Take a test pic, pop the card in computer and see if it shows up. You should see a new folder choice -- "graphics". Hope that works for you!
