Hey donald
Little more detail would be great.
Step one: WHILE THE COMPUTER IS REBOOTING AND THE SCREEN IS BLANK TAP ON THE F8 BUTTON
Step two: from the available choices choose last know good configuration and then hit enter and then enter again.
THIS SHOULD WORK.
About the password;;;;;
assuming you are pressing ctrl alt del to get the advanced login screen you can try keeping the password field empty or try default passwords like 123456, password, abc123.....
I am pretty sure the blank password will work.
If it doesnot you can try going in the safe mode and uninstalling the hp software.
once the hp software is uninstalled and the computer starts working again let me know and ill help you get the hp on to the computer as well.
Please rate as fixya if this works
Cheers
Keshey
