How to program ONN (code?) urc with Motorola sat box

If you want the Motorola remote to control the TV or another device, then you should be looking at the instructions for the Motorola satellite box. You'll find a list of codes in the back of the book for the TV brands it supports.

If the code for your particular TV or other device isn't listed then there's a way to use the remote to search its entire code base. This can sometimes provide the answer where a certain TV chassis is sold under several different brands.

Have Talkabout 250 and want to turn off the beeping. any ideas

The following instructions are for the T289, which is very similar to the T250. It is possible they will work to turn off your beeps.

Alert Tones

The Alert Tones (beeps) on the Talkabout radios are set at a fixed volume

level and cannot be lowered. However, Alert Tones can be disabled. When

Alert Tones are disabled, the radio will receive messages at the volume

setting you've selected, but you will not hear beeps when you press control

buttons.

Disabling Alert Tones:

1. Hold down the Monitor button while you turn radio on.

2. To re-activate Alert Tones, turn the radio off, then on again while holding
the Monitor button down.

I need to know the watt of the t5509

The TalkAbout radios are 1/2 watt radios, with exception of the older larger TalkAbout Distance and Distance DPS, which were 1-2 watts.

Best regards.

Older Motorola Talkabout FCC ID AZ489FT4818

You can find a copy of the user manual at http://www.motorola.com/mdirect/manuals/T280_User_Manual.pdf
Which has the instructions on how to program the Talkabout TA280 and TA289. From your FCC ID number it appears you have the Talkabout 280SLK.
