It sounds like the processors are not matched. Check the stepping ID on them to make sure they are both from the same batch.

My old PIII system Actually sound drive not working so pls send

most of the pIII particularly the sound card if it is built-in, it's compatible with Realtek audio driver, all you have to do is to download the driver over the net and install it, but be sure it is compatible with your system cause error will occur if its not compatible

Which frequency of processor for QDI motherboard BrillianX-1S with BIOS 4.51 PG

hey there.

If you are planning to upgrade the processor with the latest one then it is not possible without upgrading your motherboard.

Because as per all the bus and system configuration requirement with ur CPU you must give the recommended bus speed, bus lines, Address lines, Ram supportive slot, and RAM Frequency.

Your motherboard must suuport all those requirement if you are upgrading ur Processor.

You are right that ur motherboard can only work with PIII CPU.

Upgrade ur motherboard with atleast of 845,945G Chipset to support up to core2 Duo Processor in Intel. OR with A8V-VM and above in Asus Motherboard.
