Question about Adobe Computers & Internet

My patch tool is working in reverse!

When using my patch tool it is taking the pixels I am hoping to replace and putting them in the area I am trying to pick up and replace the area with.  In detail.  I have a white area on my image I am trying to erase with the patch tool.  I draw around the white area with my patch tool and drag the selected area to the dark area I wish to put over the white patch.
What happens is the white area is moved over the dark area, so instead of one dark area I have x2 white areas!

I just opened Photoshop, and tested this.

The patch tool works like this. You circle the portion of the image you want to use to cover the "white" area. Once you circled that area, you drag the selection to the "white" area.

Hope this helps.

Use the reverse button. That's what it is for. Sew forward and then push the button and sew in reverse.

How to put on a corner patch on a 1996 s-10 pu

First, find a replacement cab corner, then assess the area you need to replace.
Take your patch panel and trim it with a cut-off wheel or air saw to fit the area you want to replace.
The key now is to very slowly and carefully weld the replacement panel in place.ECU Chip Tuning Tool

Screen pixels sticking

Try changing the input device to something that works. If the display is same, there is a damage to the display and might need replacement.

I have a red dot on the screen. I tink its a dead pixel? Can this be repaired?

Hi!
There are 2 ways you can try to fix dead pixel: Try online tool like http://www.jscreenfix.com/basic.php
OR
Try this quick guide to fix dead pixels
  1. Turn off your monitor.
  2. Get yourself a damp cloth, so that you won't scratch the screen.
  3. Apply pressure to the area where the stuck pixel is. Try not to put pressure anywhere else, as this may trigger the creation of more stuck pixels.
  4. While applying pressure, turn on your computer and screen.
  5. Remove pressure and the stuck pixel should be gone.
If none of these works, than you can't do anything with it.
Hope it helps

THERE is two small bright patches in the screen

the two small bright patches are actually bad pixels.there is nothing to worry about as upto 5-6 bad pixels are fine.these bad pixels do not spread generally so no reason to worry.in case the number of bad pixels on the screen increase to more than 5-6 then you can get your unit replaced by the manufacturer if in warranty.

My son's intex has a puncture i have tried the

you must clean the area really well before the glue will stick. first, soap and water the area, then rinse. then, alcohol to wipe clean and dry the water from the area.
then, use cpvc pipe primer (used by plumbers) to clean the area and the inside of the patch.
then, vinyl cement (comes with intex boats) or "seal all" (bought at home depot). apply liberally on both surfaces and hold firmly into place. put a weight ontop if you can to hold the patch. let dry for a few hours. should be good to go.
i've patched my intex mariner about 8 times. patches all hold well.

Dead pixel

One trick that might work is to use your finger nail or a pop sickle stick to massage the screen in the area of the dead pixel. Has worked about 1/2 the times that I have tried it.
Hope this helps!
