Loss of Hydrauils

Allis Charmers 7060 Tractor
I lent my tractor to a frend ,and when he had it he burst an oil line , I replaced it and it had no lift . I canged the oil ,fillters and dismantled the main piston pump and could not find the problem . It will lift very slow and jumpy at low revs but on higher revs there is nothing , it also has the same affect on the steering and brakes . I put on a second hand pump and that was the same . It is like there is a lack of oil getting to the pump . I know the Allis Charmers have a very complicated system with three pumps . But can you please help .
Thanks Brian Lucas

Did you bleed the lines going to the cylinders? Unlike oil, air is compressable, and needs to be bled out like brakes on your car. After priming the pump, loosen the fittings at the cylinders and try actuating a few times. Once unaerated fluid comes out, tighten the fittings and actuate the cylinders a few times.

Have a bad check valve somewhere in the system allowing pressure to bleed backwards through the system, should be able to hear it when the bucket is up in the air turn off the tractor and listen closely to the lines for a slight whining sound from the fluid leaking when it should be sealed

Most likely just the age of the engine. It is not uncommon to have to de-carbon the valves, head, and top of the piston in a small engine after years of use.
