Click start control panel regional and language options select regional language options from the drop down list select the language you want also from the bottom drop up list you can select your present location location or another language Hope this helps.

I will assume you are using Windows 7. To change to your desired language:

1. Click Start and go to Control Panel
2. Open "Clock, Language and Region"
3. Open "Change Display Language"

To change the language just go to Control Panel - Region and Language and there you can make changes

Of course,no matter what the language of the windows is ,use your basic computer operation knowledge,you can change the OS Language in the Regional & Language option at Windows for your HP Mini 1000 Netbook PC Notebook.And it is showed in English for the word "English" .
