Question about Baby Gear
Hi, we connected the bugaboo adapters for maxi cosi mico to the maxi-cosi mico carseat. The relase button on the maxi cosi carseat is also stuck and the adapters will not release.
Can you please advise to release the stuck adapters from the car seat?
We have just released the Bugaboo adapters by pressing buttons on the Maxi Cosi seat and gently pulling the adapters at the same time. These buttons can be found either side on the top of the seat, next to where the seat carry handles are attached. The adapters come away very easily, no force needed. (I dont know if this is true if the adapters are in the wrong way round!)

If you pry the pegs a little bit away from the seat, you should be able to get a 1/8" or so gap which will let you stick a small dinner fork into the space. Using the tines of the fork, reach under the "pawl" (hook) that is engaged on the tab of the adapter, and displace the pawl toward the car seat. There should be enough give to have the pawl clear the tab.
Don't force it. If you do it right, it doesn't take too much force, and should only take a few minutes.

All right, I got them out by turning the car seat on its top and pulling the adapters. I also placed my foot on the bottom of the car seat to counter the pulling... that's one tough mo-fo for sure.
I realized that I put them on wrong (flipped sides) - the correct way is to have the L and R letters on the adapters face outward and make sure they correspond with the sides of baby's arms.
Have fun pulling ;-)

Same thing here, adapter got stuck. Release button was stuck fully depressed, tried to tug on it for about an hour. finally turned it over put one foot on the back and used both hands and pulled the ****** out. works fine now.

There is a hook inside the slot of the maxicosi where the adapter is. After trying brute force for 10 min without success, I read this blog, and found the solution to lift the hook the simplest, which can be done without any force. Simply use a flashlight to look on the mechanism in between the car seat and adapter. there is a vertical hook starting from the base of the car seat and reaching the adapter. If you hold the car seat in front of you, looking in the little space between the adapter and car seat the hook will be vertical inside the adapter in the middle of it. Its orientation is sideways. Take a spiky kitchen knife and get the hook off using the sides as levers. You will easily see which piece can move. Once I did one, I did the other in 30 sec. Good luck!

I cannot remove the maxi car seat adopters for the bugaboo. Is there a release in the car seat?
