Question about Infinity Reference 1230W Car Subwoofer
I have an 10' infinity reference. not sure what series. i think its 1030 or 1300. worked good for a year with 60 watts. never played loud. started cutting out then quit completely. works when i push the cone down. can i fix it? where can i find instructions for disassembly?
The woven leads between the terminal posts and voice coil go bad. they may appear intact, but they can still go bad. I unsoldered them, clipped a lil off the ends, and re-soldered them. works great.

Initial step: Take a multimeter and measure over the terminals and perceive how the outcomes vary with the cone very still versus pushed in. In the event that it's an open circuit very still and ordinary when pushed down the sub then maybe it is an awful association like that. On the off chance that it's shorted at that point... that is more regrettable. The Best Car Subwoofers Reviews Buying Guide
