Automatic cleaning I have a Brother DCP-115C Printer and I would like to know if there is a way to stop the printer from automatically cleaning itself.  It tends to do this quite frequently.  Thank you.

To ensure consistent print quality and prevent damage to the print head, your Brother machine will perform maintenance purges of the print head at regular intervals. These purges remove any air or debris that may have gotten into the print head manifold. Your machine will use the minimum amount of ink necessary to perform this operation.

I hope it helps!!!

My DCP-115C printer was missing red colour.

Yellow is one of the colours used to produce a shade of red.

I don't know how but ther must be a way to print a test page to see if the print heads need cleaning I've never used a brother.

Always Cleaning...

no. no tool.

set date and time. leave machine ALWAYS power plugged in.

machine automatically do some cleaning to keep air bubbles away and the nozzles working. this consumes very little amount of ink.
