Downloading my music and then burning to a cd

You cannot. The music is stored digitally over the Microsoft servers, and they even said this music can not be taken to burn to CDs and other saving formats. The songs, even when downloaded, can not be burned to CDs and DVDs because they're encrypted, and the means to get around these are much more difficult than just getting the music off the internet. I'd suggest you just stick with your music online, instead of delving into downloading the music illegally to make your CD. Else you'd just have to buy all your music again from a different provider.

All or any music formats? What format is the music file? Use you Real Player Converter to convert the format. Is it DRM music that does not allow copying?

You will need a burnable cd /dvd rw disc and cd dvd rw drive and burning software there are lots of these freeware on the web here is just a few you might try if you dont have a burning program
if you dont have two cd / dvd drives to do a copy disc

you will need to create a folder to copy the music to then burn it to a disc

to make a folder right click in my documents select new folder you can name it lets say my music blues for the sake of this exercise

click start all programs accessories open windows explorer navigate to your music cd

select the cd right click copy and then paste the music into your newly made folder folder or

click and hold the cursor and drag and drop the cd into your new folder

if you are downloading data from the internet

once it starts downloading windows will ask whether you want to run or save it
a browse option will open you can save it into your folder in my documents

once you have done this open up your burning software depending on which it is you can choose either a data cd or dvd or burn an image you would select the option make an audio cd or music cd depending on the burning sofware

insert a cd then click rip cd then the laptop will get the music from the cd then you can burn it. Good day and best regards.

What is exactly the problem, Does your computer have the software and the CD burner in it? What are the steps you follow to burn music?
Normally to burn the music from the computer , use Media player or any other software that can burn CD. Pick the music files to be burned from the local drive. Insert blank CD in the CD burner. Hit the burn to CD button from the CD burning software.

If u want Burn the Music CD just select the option copy disc option and it will copy all data to memory then it will automatically ejects and ask for a blank disc just remove the music disc and insert it with a blank disc it will start writing i.e, burning then finally it will come out and u r music disc is ready

you need a program called itools.It will enable you to do swapping of music.The cd prob is another issue.Your computer might be finalizing the cd,which doesn't allow any music to be added.
