Why Is My Outlook Search Not Working Properly On Mac?

Make sure that you're Outlook Profile or any other of its parent's folder are not in the privacy tab of the Spotlight. If your Outlook Profile or any of its parent folder are displayed in the Spotlight privacy tab then Spotlight is unable to search. So then remove them from the privacy tab of Spotlight and try again.

I am using Yahoo Canada mail. Just like everyone else, I cannot search for old email messages. The search always fails and brings up no results, even though I can see the very e-mails I am searching for....

That problem is known as Yahoo Mail search bug and probably will be fixed during the time but anyway search functions in web based E-mails generally are bad. Best solution for you will be to use MS Outlook to create local copy of Yahoo E-mails and for searching through E-mails there is excellent search engine http://www.exalead.com/software/products/desktop-search/ witch you can install and it is free edition that search will index all your E-mails in MS Outlook and other files in your computer.

My Outlook is too slow

There are a few simple steps you can take to keep your Outlook running smoothly. If your Outlook is slow and unstable, it can put a serious drain on your productivity and even elevate the stress level. So take a few moments to get it shape.
1. Keep your PSTs at a reasonable size
With Outlook 2003 and 2007 you can create “new style” PST files which do not have the old 2GB limit. However, for best performance, we still recommend keeping your PST files relatively small and not letting them grow too much above 1GB.

2. Disable Add-ins you are not using
3. Compact your PST files

4. Enable Cached Exchange Mode
If you are using an Exchange-based mail account, enabling Cached Exchange Mode will likely improve Outlook responsiveness.

6. Keep an eye on your Desktop Search Indexers
Using products such as Windows Desktop Search and Google Desktop Search is a great way to be able to quickly find email messages

7. Keep your computer up to date with patches and Service Packs

8. Reset Outlook cache files

9. Disable RSS feeds in Outlook
•Open “Tools->Options->Other->Advanced Options”
•Uncheck “Sync RSS Feeds to the Common Feed List

Hope this Helped

Not able to sent email from outlook 2007

Do you have Outlook set up to work with a specific email account? The details of how to make Outlook send mail vary depending on which kind of email you are using (Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, etc.). You can find instructions for making Outlook 2007 work with many of the common types of email at:

http://www.living-with-outlook.com/outlook-web-mail.html

If this doesn't help, you should post information on the kind of email service you are using. Specifically, who is the email provider (Comcast, Verizon, etc.)
