When this happens, with some radio's you have to leave the radio switched on (without trying to input anything) for about 30 minutes.
The screen swops from saying 'Lock' back to 'enter code', then enter correct code, failing that it will have to be reset at a Dealer.
1
Unplug the treadmill. Locate the console key and place the
safety or reset key into the treadmill console. Replace any parts that
need replacing, or move on to the next step.
2
Locate the reset switch on the underside of the treadmill
console. Usually the button is large enough to trigger with a pencil
eraser or Q-tip. Plug the treadmill plug back into the wall. Use the
Q-tip to press the reset button. It may be necessary to hold the reset
button down for a few seconds. "CL11" will appear in the display of the
treadmill.
Press the reset button one more time with the Q-tip. "CL21"
should appear on the screen. Press the enter key. The display will
change again and show "CL22." Keep pressing the enter key until the
numbers cycle through to the number "CL26." Press enter one more time.
The letter E should appear on the display screen.

Press enter twice more. The letters "SS" should appear on
the screen. When this happens, press the start/stop key. Making sure to
keep well away from the tread, press enter to start the treadmill. The
treadmill will start on its own. The treadmill will stop on its own

Resetting the code: - please follow these instructions to reset the code on your Powerbolt 1000 unit:
* Remove the inner cover plate from the lock. * Locate the small round program button near the left side of the circuit board (Red or Black). * To program, the latch should be extended out in the lock position, press the reset button once, then enter your 4-8 digit code on the exterior keypad, then immediately press the middle lock button on the exterior keypad. You will hear a beep. Re-enter the same 4-8 digit code to confirm, the latch should retract. This completes the programming. This signals that your code has been accepted. * To enter a second code, follow the same procedures as in step 3, but this time press the reset button twice then enter your code.
Instructions to reset the code should be on the back of your garage door opener. If they are not: press the learn button (colored button) on the back of opener. Yo will have 30 or so seconds to key in a new 4 digit security code. Enter your 4 number code then hold enter until light on operator flashes. When it does, it has learned your new code. If there are no lights on your opener you will hear a clicking sound. If this works please take the time to give me a rating. Thanks kc
That is a fuser code. May be a bad heat rod or just need reset. Here is how to reset it.
Enter diagnostics, Here is the procedure.
To enter diagnostics: Hold down ‘0’ while turning on the Power the console will light up. Press ‘Stop/Clear’, the lights will shut off & --- will appear in the display Wait 30 seconds for the optics to complete a self-test before you enter any diagnostic test codes. Never turn off the power before the optics stop moving (or you’ll get a U2 code & possibly some unpleasant noises from the Scan Drive Motor).
Next setp is to use the code to clear the U$ code. *To clear a fuser code:(401) Enter diagnostics, wait 30 seconds for the optics to initialize, enter ‘401’ followed by ‘Print’, then shut down the power & wait 10 seconds before switching power back on.
That will normally clear that problem. Often times when a machine has set for a long time they wont warm up right and pop that code.
Another thing, if you can get the machine to warm up and come ot ready then it pops up a U4. Open that right side door. You will see this silver, looks like a small saw blade. It should be silver, but it will have a lot of ink built up on it, take a soft brush and clean it with that.
Let me know, if hte code 401 doesnt clear it, then the heat rod would have to be replaced. If that happens please let me know and we will procede from there.
