You should try to reset it , where the slot card is , there is a incorporated button , take out the card (not to loose the maps) and with a needle press the reset button , but the card back and it should work , take care

My tom tom 510 turns off after 30mins

Hello :

This is a battery problem . Replace the battery and problem will be solved .
If that didn't solve the problem , then the battery base could be isolated by some stuff . By base I mean where the battery set . Clean the points where the battery and the device connect with a q-tip and alcohol containing liquid.

PLEASE RATE !

Wont turn on

Do a reset. Check TomTom website to find where your reset hole is. Use a paperclip to do the reset.

Tom tom one version 2.2

Try this.
Run TTH without your unit connected.
Click on update my device (or any other process that you need TTH to perform).
You will then be prompted to connect and turn on the tomtom.
Connect and power up the device, if it asks you if you want to connect to computer, select yes (it does not always ask).

Hi my tom tom go 700 dosnt turn on

I had the same issue. I used a paper clip to press the reset button on the bottom of the device.

I hope that works for you. Good Luck

TOMTOM 510 not reading SD card

I did find out how to solve the problem. I can't remember exactly where I found the solution but I think it was on TOMTOM website. You have to connect to TOMTOM home and reinstall the application. I put the TOMTOM disc in the computer (which came with purchase) and reinstalled the program. Which I thought was weird as everything appeard to be fine with TOMTOM home). Anyway, it worked. Good luck.
