This is not likely a control board issue. If hte CD changer is "out of timing", this problem can be seen. Are there any symptoms other than "no lights"?

- The way these systems are set up, the CD changer must be able to return to a "known state" before the system will work correctly. When the unit is powered on, there is a startup sequence that happens including a reset of the changer. If any portion of the sequence fails, the unti will power down. I'm not sure of your model was included in an engineering modification to the loader or not. This unit should go to an authorized Panasonic service center for repair. If this unit has the changer that was modified, it will be modified during the re-timing procedure. This should be a labor only repair.
