Some of the tvs eliminate this option if the settings are on "auto color " or something similar depending on the brand; if that it doesn't fix it we will need more info.

SOURCE: rca tv problem

It is a common failure. It requires replacing a couple of ICs that we call STKs. The cost of repair is always $400 plus or minus unless you can do it by yourself (You should have some basic hand soldering skills in order to do the work because it requires some soldering AND some further testing for other components that may have failed in addition to the ICs).
Check for a part that looks like the one in this link but with a different part number that is mounted on a big heatsink.
Let me know if you require further assistance.

I have Acer V203HV LCD Monitor.Even after installing the installation CD I cannot adjust the colour. The reason is when I click on Acer edisplay management the window highlights only option and extras...

Acer's economy V series models don't have any color mgmt built-in. Even the accompanying CD is not that useful.

The best way to adjust the color is - to use the video card's color management software. Based on your IGP / PCI-Express graphics card, check the settings in Catalyst or nVidia Control Panel.

I have a v203Hv model and I used the above technique, which helped me a lot to achieve the color, gamma balance.

I was cleaning the bottom of the screen and hit the color. Now it is blue and very hard to look at. I am at work, so I need this fixed

There should be a button that pulls up a menu to adjust color/contrast/ bright, etc. Press it and go through the menu options by either repeatedly pressing the menu button, or by using up-down-right left arrows. Adjust your colors using these options, or if available, try "auto" adjust.
I don't know this particular monitor, and am no "expert", but these options should be available on virtually any LCD monitor. A final option, if adjusting these does not help, look at all the menu - settings. If you see "recall" or "restore" or "default" anywhere, try selecting that option.

Good luck

We have an Emerson 20inch tv that suddenly lost it's color.

Do a reset to this TV and then check. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done.

Componet 1 and WII

First of all, make sure that you have the colors of the component cable matched correctly. You can switch the Pr and Pb cable and still get a picture although in the wrong color.

Secondly, go to the TV menu... the menu should still be in color. If it is in B/W then you might have a hardware issue. Try adjusting the custom color setting so that you get a blue picture or red picture. There is an option for adjusting the color called "blue mute" it should give you a perfectly blue picture. If you still don't get any color than it is a hardware issue. It could be the Main Board or the Control Board.

It was the Main Board in my case.
