My bosch oven door, HBL545 A UC, is broke. The door will not close all the way. I've had the hinge fixed twice, the door replaced once :( Is there a part I can order?

Bosch HBL 545A UC oven door hinge is broke. I've had the hinge fixed then the whole door/hinges replaced. It never closed properly and the repairman/company was not good for it. It eventually got stuck in a half-closed / half-open position and broke trying to get it open or closed. Is there a hinge (part) that we can order?

SOURCE: Bosch HBL 645 oven door won't close all the way

I am afraid that the door hinges are non adjustable, and the only solution is to replace them as a pair.
There should be some kind of latch mechanism at the end of the hinge
where it is fastened to the door to compress the hinge to enable you to remove them.
Hope this helps.

Replace oven door seal

It will not be the door seal at fault. More likely is that the hinges are worn out or strained.

After changing the right door hinge on my bosch hbl455auc the door closes but the upper oven door is 1/8 lower at right top than left. How can I realign the door to level?

There are adjustment screws or bolts on the hinge attachments to the oven. Loosen them and adjust the door using wedges to hold the door in place.

Oven door will not close completely no tension.siemens 6 hob.

I told bosch which is the same as siemens that the door hinges are defective. I even told them how to fix the problem without changing the hinges .If you add three washers on each hinge this will bring the door in to close the same for the bosch ranges. ps ex tech:)

Jenn-Air electric wall oven door opens slightly when in bake mode

you either have a bent door hinge or a broken door spring.
check the hinges by opening the door and see if it opens past 90 degrees. if it leans towards the floor then the hinges are bent.
if not then your door springs are broken off. you can check this by seeing if the door "feels" heavy when opening.
either way the door should close tight against the frame when up and the light should not come on without opening the door.

Neff oven door (U1661)

The door is v heavy and the hinges being right at the bottom take a lot of strain, especially when the door is in 'half open' position. Once the springs start to wear the hinges are no longer strong enough to hold the top of the door firmly closed. Our U1661 is 8 years old and we've had the hinges replaced twice under extended warranty. The second time the hinges they supplied don't hold the door in this position and it will just drop straight down if you don't support it while you open it.

Oven door does'nt close fully

Heavy doors wear out the rollers on the hinge and the hinge itself. Need to replace them in a pair but the are expensive.

Bosch HBL745A Oven door

My husband just figured this out.

- Follow Door removal instruction from the manual.
- There is a screw at the end of the hinge that can be adjusted.
- Adjust the screw to desired height.
- Secure lock nut.
