Check the element in the oven by using a multimeter to test continuty. If there is zero resistance than the element is open. Element is no good and needs replacement.

Sounds like the hot surface ignitor is bad. It is inside the oven the bottom panel remove it and the hot surface is down there. When you have the panel off turn the oven on and it the hot surface doesn't glow bingo you can fix that. Let me know how it turns out. Ken

I just read the title a little closer and noticed it is a electric range. My post is so far off base that it only applies for gas units. It's the element ohm it out.

Sounds like its a fault with the thermostat, or thermal fuse, you have to check the continuity of these with an elecrical tester, they are located at the back of the oven (usually behind a panel) if the range is still under warranty give customer services a call:

Electric range surface elements not working after self clean cycle.

It sounds like it is broken. You can bypass it by connecting the 2 wires together. This should be fine until you replace it. They aren't that expensive.

How i take the top off

Hello,
to remove the top to access the surface burners their should ba couple screws in between the lower part of the cooktop and the upper part of the oven door. by opening the oven door and looking up at the bottom of the cooktop you should see those screws.

BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO REMOVE THOSE SCREWS BE SURE TO DISCONNECT POWER TO THE RANGE
