Question about IBM ThinkPad T23 2647 Notebook
I have an IBM thinkpad that came to me with no video output at all. Changed the motherboard to solve the problem, but notebook only gives video from the VGA port out of the back and nothing on the system LCD. Have replace both the LCD and the inverter PCBA, but no luck. What else could cause this to happen, even though I am able to load windows xp just fine along with update system to SP3 thinking somehow that it might just help. Still nothing. Unfortunately, my customer wants us to hang on to it until we get it fixed, then notify him. Please help me, if ya can.
Try Fn+F7 first, that is th switch the LCD to VGA. if that doesn't work, you need to go to IBM website download the video management software.
