Campbell hausfeld has all their manuals on line at www.chpower.com / you can enter the model # of the whole unit or just the # of the pump. Also you can enter just a partial number example wl650 for a list of models is that range. Use caution when installing gaskets for chpower oiless pumps. Some of their gaskets are very brittle. After installing parts, turn pump by hand to make sure all parts are in their proper place and that there is suction. Enjoy

I own a Campbell Hausfeld model WL650800AJ compressor, the problem is that the compressor will not pressurize over about 85 psi..where would be the best place to start troubleshooting?..BTW, there is

The usual problem with oil-less type compressor is the Teflon compression ring and cylinder will fail causing the problem that you describe. Easy to check. With cover removed, turn the pump until the piston is all the way up. With good light, check the condition of the cylinder near the top. If the cylinder looks scratched, air is leaking past cylinder and ring and pressure will not build up enough to reach cut-out. If cylinder looks smooth, then problem is head valve reeds or head gaskets. Indication of bad reeds or head gasket blown, is extremely hot head during fill cycle. Good luck

My cambell hausfeld , model WL650001AJ won`t come on . Have power to and through ths switch . Motor hooked direct to power and no start . Any thoughts ?

Check for a reset switch on the motor or air pump. They're usually located on the edge of the motor housing sometimes partially hidden by the air shroud around the air pump. It's usually a white button about the size of a pencil eraser with a two digit number in the middle of it. If it's sticking out of its housing push it in to reset it.

Hi, my compressor takes forever to fill up, its a 7hp 75 gallon tank 240 volt 15 amp model. It can take up to 1/2 hour to fill. never did before(filter is clean also) Thanks Tom

Without the model number I am not for sure what pump you have but there are 2 things that can cause this.

#1 Would be the check valve in the tank may be weak or bad. This allows air to go into the tank and not escape. If this is bad typically you will have air coming back out of your pressure switch after the air compressor is turned off.

#2 You may have a blown head gasket between you first and second stage in the top of the compressor pump. To solve this problem you would need to replace the head gaskets in your air compressor.

Thanks

I need a schematic Break down of a cummins 2hp 13 gal 115v 15 amp 13 gal tank air compressor Model # TD-5050(1204) Serial # 0702 including price for the electric motor Thank You

I have a TD-5050 13 gallon air compresser that is a 5 Horse running motor. The mmotor will not start on it's own with out me turning the motor by hand to get it started. I have to let all the air out and than spinn the motor to get it started. If I do this it will run for a long time. I think i might have messed it up with using too light of electric cord.

Need to know where the 2 little metal pices go between the head and block and gasket model ac2003 it runs fine just no air after i changed the head gasket

if you're not getting pressure those may be your valves, are they flat thin metal pieces, looks something like feeler guage material. if they are they go on the top of the valve plate to keep the air from reentering the cyl. head

Need to find out how to replace belt on WL65 cambell hausfeld air compressor

Not sure how easy it will be to locate repair instructions if they are not in your manual. However maybe the diagram of the pump is all you need. Just click on the first link below. It will open up the pump diagram. #14 is the belt.
I also included the link to the site where you can get a look a at the parts list and order parts for your compressor.
Hope something here helps.
If not please let me know and I'll try and describe the proccess for the belt remove to you.

I have a husky compressor, model number y6010-wk. it builds pressure slow, and shuts down right away.

Problem: My compressor is not producing the air that it once did. It takes twice as long to pump up.
Solution:
1)Turn off your compressor or disconnect the power.
2)Remove the connector tube that sends air to the tank.
3)Remove the head bolts on top of the pump.
4)Remove the head off of your pump.
5)Remove the valve plate off of your pump. It may be a one piece or a 2 piece design.
6)Inspect the valve plate for broken reed valves or broken gaskets above or below the valve plate.
