I had a similar problem of the unit turning off when the engine was started.
I simply replaced the battery as the one one boat was only registering about 11 amps. This unit requires amps to be over 12 to maintain the readings. This fixed my problem at least.
If you are not getting a reading on the transducer you may need to make some slight adjustment on the transducer itself. Is it installed correctly? There is a manaul with pictures detailing the exact method of installing the transducer. It is very important you get this right.
Good luck mate

Freezer too warm

First off, how old is the unit? Without knowing, my advice, and what has worked many times, is to unplug the unit, and turn it upside down. Thats right. Upside down. May take a couple or few people, depending on the weight. What this does, is to have the refrigerant begin running back to the top of the unit. Sometimes it settles in the bottom, and has to have extra help to start moving properly again. If, after about 6 to 24 hours it doesn't seem to have helped, it could be that you have lost the fluid, but that doesn't seem very likely. If you had, it would run consistently at the same warm temperature. If it helps, you may want to repeat the procedure to insure that it is completely free flowing. Cheap fix, if it fixes things. Good luck.

Omoron is not woking properly

Same problem on my Omron HEM-711. Manufactured in 2003, past the 5-yr warranty. Cust Suppt told me to replace unit. I opened the unit up and looked inside. Two very tight phillips screws, one on back panel, other in battery compartment. Case pries apart. LCD display looked intact, ribbon was undamaged. Unit appeared to work properly, just did not display correct reading, some of the liquid crystals in a few of the digits were not activating. I installed batteries with case still open, turned power on while pressing ribbon along edge of circuit board. Ribbon is manufactured with glue to circuit board, some of the leads come loose after several years due to manufacturing defect. In my case, pressing towards the bottom side corrected problem. You can see when it's working properly because all the display crystals light up simultaneously when unit is first powered up. I clamped down ribbon with two small paper clips insulated with a few bits of paper, works fine now, saved eighty bucks.

Bucket full light blinking, code 01

Assuming you have already emptied the bucket (?), the bucket may not have been reinstalled properly. When this happens, you get what you described. Turn the unit OFF & unplug it. Remove the water collection bucket an reinstall it, so the it fits "squarely" into the bucket holder from top to bottom. It needs to make firm contact with the bucket removal safety switch on the left rear wall of the bucket holder. The bucket should not tilt down at the bottom when installed properly. Plug the cord back in and turn the unit ON. Set the humidity extraction level to 35%. If installed properly, the unit should turn ON within 5 seconds.

If the above does not solve the problem, the bucket safety removal switch may be broken. Remove the bucket and try activating it with your finger while the bucket is removed. If the unit doesn't start within a fem seconds, the switch is bad and should be replaced.

Hope this helped you troubleshoot and solve the problem. Thanks for choosing FixYa.

When I try to turn on my dryer it just buzzes for about 5 seconds and doesn't do anything else. The heater doesn't turn on and the drum doesn't turn. Help!!!

There can be many reasons why your dryer will not start or turn...

The most common causes are the belt breaking or jumping off, or the motor goingbad...

Here are a couple of tips that I wrote will help you to figure out why yourdryer will not run...

Dryer Repair - The Dryer is not Turning

WE have a model DE45EJ - T. The humidifer is not pulling in anything or making any noise or doing anything at all. It says Lo in the bottom reading.

The "LO" in the bottom reading, Indicates the current humidity extraction setting. If the unit was operating properly not that long ago (A couple of hours), the reason it is not doing anything, maybe that there is no humidity above "LO" = 30% at this time. Once it the humidity level rises above 30%, it should turn ON and function normally.

Also, was the timer set to turn the unit OFF at a specific time?

If the unit wasn't working properly a couple of hours ago.

Check the air intake filter for excessive dirt or clogs. Turn the unit OFF & unplug it before removing the filter. While the unit is OFF, remove the bucket, empty it if needed and carefully replace i, making sure it is fitted properly in to it's holder.

Air obstruction: The dehumidifier requires an minimum of 12" to 18" clear air space around the entire unit.

Hope this has helped you further troubleshoot and solve the problem. To assist you further, in case you have misplaced yours, I am including a link to your Owner's Manual that you can download and print for future reference.

I have a Maytag dehumidifier and I cant get it to run. I emptied it once and after that it has not worked. It keeps telling me that it is full. The fans wont run at all. Any assistance would be great!

It may be that the bucket was not reinserted properly. Turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to OFF and unplug the unit from the wall outlet Remove the bucket from it's holder and look inside the left top of the bucket. Your model may have a float valve. If it does and it's in the UP position, giggle it, so that it returns to the DOWN position. If it doesn't have a float valve, look up inside the bucket holder and you should see a trigger type switch, that the bucket, when installed properly must make firm contact with.

Reinsert the bucket into the holder, making sure that it fits squarely into the holder from top to bottom. That the bottom is not tilted down at all. Then, plug the unit back in and turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to ON. If everything was done properly, the unit should have reset itself and will work as it should.

Hope this helped you to troubleshoot and solve the problem. Please let me know. Thanks.

Unit won't start

The bottom panel may be flexing enough to prevent the interlock switch from operating. Poor (but cheap) design.
