The system works to reward those of us that can offer acceptable solutions with payment. Now that you have rejected my solution in the Premium post, I would not receive that hard to cop a rejection there, and then to be asked on the free section to help you solve the problem.

I would have been glad to assist you, I have much more to offer... but as it goes, you have rejected my solution in the premium post... so rejected, and perhaps somewhat dejected I remain!

Good luck with finding another Pioneer expert to assist you.

Hi again, the link in the solution you have awarded the FixYa to is just alignment details only for the optics. Because of the series of laser (PEA1285) fitted, alignment procedures are minimal. Only the tangental adjustment needs to be set. This will not help you to resolve the mechanical load problems you have. Was it you intention to award the FixYa to Leecom.

Will a pioneer pd-f605 play mp3s

Yes is will. You need to attach the MP3 to one of the inputs and select that input to play it. A burned CD should work just fine.

The player have problem with the laser pickup unit.
Try one thing, there is a disc available for cleaning the laser pickup unit (). You will get in any cd shops(instructions will come with it). Buy the cd and the insert it in any one of the tray. It will clean the laser unit if there is any dust in it. After cleaning put a disc and check is the problem remains. If the problem remains the you have to change the laser pick up unit. You can fin a link here which will lead you to the laser pick up unit. You will get the part only against confirm order.

Built in a complete new laser unit : VXX2909-S and the disc does not spin up ? Any suggestions ? Yes I removed the solder bridge from the laser :)

1. Check the short-circuit switch for the laser. You might switched it when replaced the laser unit and forgot to switch it back.
2. Check the ribbon of the spindle motor, you might have forgot to connect it.
3. Can you load cds in the unit? When you push a cd in does it accept it? If no, then probably the fuse of all the motors is blown and should be replaced. This is the part:

My Pioneer PD-TM1 18 Disc player reads through all three disc magazines searching on each individual CD disc one at a time, and then will not play any one of the disc?

Seen alot of these "drop" the laser lens inside the unit! Have had some luck glueing the lens back on using radio/tv cement. Don't try super glue or it will ruin the lens! No luck replace the laser!

Have a pioneer cd player model number PD-Z560T. Has started making my cd's jump while i'm playing them.Have tryed cd lens laser cleaning disc but still no good any ideas?

My cd unit on the pioneer pd-z560t also jumps. I also tried lens cleaner, with no luck.

It was suggested to me that cleaner is only any good for a good - but dirty - lens, but no good if the lens has actually deteriorated and become weak.

I would be curious to know how a lens could actually deteriorate pls.
