Question about Motorola Mobility A1200

Cannot find network?!

Hi I just got an A1200R. I have no signal and it gives message 'call failure' ...can anyone advise me. thanks

Tap top right icon for dialpad, lower left for menu, then select setup.
Selct Network Setup, then the lower left icon again.
Select Search Setup.
Change band to 850/1900, and speed to Fast. Save.
Phone will scan networks and lock-on (if programmed SIM inserted)

hi, their is down time with sony at the network connections this is not a problem with your ps3 this problem is world wide just give it time and it will sort itself out.
sony have not put out any downtime reports yet so maybe it could be a virus please dont change any settings on your ps3 its not your problem its theirs just give them time to sort themselves out ok

Hi Friend,

It is paid service and many providers give it. U may search them here at fixya or other mobile support forum like GSMHOSTING, GSMHELP etc. No one can give u such code because it is part of Nokia security. The code is as per cell'sunique IMEI and only can be obtained by professional software tools like BB5 box and other compitable tools. It is advisable to visit near by mobile technician who have such box. He will charge u for that. If it sounds informative do not forget to vote.

Network providers lock handsets to their networks in order to protect the investment they made as you have received the handset at a reduced price. Therefore the only people that are able to unlock the handset from the network are the network providers.

Ifyou need a restriction code you will need to contact your network provider, these are the people who hold this information. They should be able to give you this information.
