Question about Frigidaire 24 in. FDB126RB Built-in Dishwasher
Dishwasher will wash, but water will not run out
Hi and welcome to FixYa,
Offhand, "water will not run out" indicates a fault at the drain system and therefore would require that the drain system be checked, cleaned and inspected for any faulty components. Normally, there would be a drain filter, a sump or sorts, a valve, an impeller and a pump that leads to the drain hose. Access to these components would be through removal of the bottom/kick panel. Further the presence of water at the bottom of the dishwasher indicates that the water is not being flushed/drained out but is leaking from any of the above. Another possibility is that the drain hose is kinked or blocked/clogged preventing water to flow out freely.
Unfortunately, this is a very messy job.
Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa. Happy Holidays.
