I did a little research in other areas and found that it is probably the capacitors. I took the TV apart and took our the power supply board and found 4 capacitors that were bad. 1 was leaking and 3 were puffy. So, I'm fairly certain that if I replace them, the problem will be fixed. I have a friend who is an electronics replair guy and he has spare capacitors and he will do the sodering for me.
