Question about Computers & Internet
Have you tried connecting the 2nd computer wihtout any security first to make sure it works like that? Just have it set up for a minute or so to test. Once that's done, try using the more secure WEP or WPA settings. Make sure the MAC Filtering is not on for this as well as it will not let anything work unless the MAC exactly maches. There are lots of nitpicky settings on the security side of the wireless router. Try to follow the directions that came with the router. Also, if the laptop came with software for the wireless connection, try to use that and don't let Windows handle the wireless connection. I've had better results not letting Windows configure it.
