Most possibly, the f1 and f2 fuses are blown. If you're good with a soldering iron, you can purchase fuses on ebay and find out how to replace these by watching videos on YouTube.

SOURCE: Nintendo DS Will Not Charge

I found that if you live over seas, which I do (Egypt), you cannot charge the DS Lite with an adapter. What my husband did was take my orginal DS Lite power charger cord, cut it, then splice it to a mobile phone charger of a close voltage from Egypt. It works great!!!! I also have the gameboy advance which had the same problem, and I used the same solution. This post is for those who live or work over seas.

SOURCE: Nintendo DS does not turn on

Find a friend that has a DS and try using their battery and charger to troubleshoot your hardware. If your battery and charger work with another DS, then you may have a problem with your DS motherboard.

My assumption at this point is the battery.

SOURCE: DS lite green light comes on, top screen flash, then switches off

Check L2 near the power switch on your DS mobo. That part usually get loosen or taken out when you drop your DS. And usually you can recover it when dismantling your DS.

You might check your device manager to see if there are any clues there before trying a new battery. Also, check your Power Options settings and see if there is a conflict.

The first thing to do is have the battery tested, just because you charged it doesn't mean it will stay charged if the cells are sulfated up or shorted.

Lithium batteries also have a certain lifetime after witch they will not charge no more. Time past and not using for a long time can also result in a dead battery.

HP Elitebook 2530 Pindicator says battery charging but battery not charging

Could be a back power brick or DC jack yes. Power off the computer and remove the battery. With the battery out plug in just the power brick and turn on the computer. If the computer doesn't power on gently wiggle the plug into the laptop and repeatedly hit the power button if it comes on briefly then off again you dc jack is loose. If it doesn't come on at all then its the power brick. If the laptop comes on gently wiggle the plug into the PC. Powers off while wiggling DC jack.

Lenovo Ideapad Z570: Battery indicator shows the Power is plugged in & charging. But the Battery charge percentage doesn't increase. How to fix this?

The battery might be nearing the end of it's useful life and needs to be replaced. The battery only lasts for so long then it has to be replaced.

Buy a battery on ebay base on your computer's Make and model, not the model of the battery.

Because the battery is not removable? Best thing is to allow the E Reader to be completely cleared of any charge. OR While it is plugged in, press and hold the power and N buttons simultaneously for 20 seconds. I then turned the device on normally. Hope this help, have a great day..

I was using my psp while it was charging and the charging light turned off, so i naturally assumed that it was fully charged. But a few minutes later the battery died and it wont charge when i plug it in....

Have you tried to remove the battery and put it back in and try to turn it on. Try removing the battery and putting the charger in and starting the PSP. If it starts, it might be the battery. If it doesn't, it's either the plugin for the charger or the PSP is just dead. If it does start with the charger, try putting the battery back in, if it charges awesome. If it doesn't the battery might be dead.

Hi. i have a dell vostro 1000 which would not charge its batt so i bought a new batt that had no charge then charged it and it worked once. but now will not charge nor will the batt charge light stay on....

Could be many things, not necessarily in this order, but the ac adapter has gone bad(highly suspect), the power converter/charge board has gone bad, the power plug receptacle has an intermittent break in it from years of use (might be able to re-solder that one back on the board ) - or the new battery is not as new as you thought. In any event, You should send it to an authorized repair center - looking at a $100 bill or more.

Showing battery light & momentarily braking on it's own

Have the alternator checked for out put voltage,at the battery, while engine is running. It should be 13.65,to 14.25 volts.anything less,or over,is not acceptable. If the alternator is over charging, then it will drag the engine r p m down.If the battery light is coming on,at all, there is a problem in the charging system.
