Hi,
If there are more then one RAM you are using in your PC that must have to be compatible.
First pull out all other ram cards and keep the new one in it.And turn on your PC if it works then turn off the system and put all the other RAM cards in it and turn on the system.
Thanks.

Reseat the memory. Make sure the memory is compatible, it needs to be the same speed I.E 333 or 400 depending on type. try swaping them. if you have more than two slots, then they need to both be in the same color slot because you have a dual channel system.

If that doesnt work, try using each one individually to make sure they both work.

Hp desktop blinking green light won't come on

mine does that when it's in stand-by mode. I just push the power button and it comes on....

Assuming you've already tried that....push and hold the power-button down for 5 seconds and the power SHOULD go out. *IF* it does not, then disconnect the power cord in the back for 1min....then reconnect and try to boot. If it *DOES*, then do the same...unplug the power cord for 1min and reconnect and boot.

Compac computer won't turn on and the power light blinks constantly what can i do to fix this problem

Does it beep? if it does, whats the beep pattern...ie long long short, or short short short

if nothing else, something is causing a short...check the usb ports (real common) the contacts break from wear and short out, have your power supply tested.

are you referring to the light on the back? if so the power supply has most likely failed, mother board can also cause this issue.

Computer will not turn on. green light blinking

Try replacing the power supply, a blinking green light usually means the power supply is missing an output voltage. If you do that and you still get a blinking green light then the motherboard will need to be replaced.

HP Media Center PC m1195c will not turn on,has green blinking light on back near power plug.

Remove your main power cable on the back of your PC. Let it sit idle for an hour and then try and power it up again. The memory in the BIOS should clear up and power back on.
