Question about Nintendo DS Lite Console
I have a nintendo Ds which i cannot re calibrate. The pen is way out of line and when I do the calibration re set the screen will carry on endlessly when it should stop after each point has been touched. hopethis makes sense....wondered if there was a faulty part, maybe the screen which I could replace to solve the problem? Any advice would be very welcome. Many thanks
I just bought a ds lite for my son off of e-bay with the same issue. i just replaced the outer touch screen which i purchased off line for under 10 dollars. the screen works perfectly now.

Its one of two things
1) there is dirt under the edge of the screen. try to clean it out with a thin piece of card or a fine toothbrush
2) the screen has broken and you will need to repair or replace it. replacing the screen is hard but possible, I have done it once before when this problem happened, it does fix the problem.
there are 2 parts to the screen, the actual LCD itself and the overlay which senses where you are pressing. In this case its the overlay that is broken. It is not expensive to buy, but it is tricky to fit. You may break your DS trying. a google search should bring up videos on how to dismantle the DS.
