Question about HP DeskJet F380 All-In-One Printer

Your advertising is misleading

I just installed a new ink cartridge in my Deskjet F4280.
Then I read the rest of the flyer that comes with the cartrudge,
On the side where the installation pictures are shown, there's an area about halfway down entitled ''FEEL GOOD ABOUT RECYCLING''.
On the third line there's an 'hp.com' address. I went there and couldn't find ANYTHING about how to go about recycling my HP ink cartridge.

I've recycled cartridges ever since I owned my first printer, years ago.
I'd greatly appreciate knowing how to handle my hp cartridges.
Thanx for your assistance.

Will HP 60 ink cartridge work with HP Deskjet 2460? Tnx.

This is all HP recommends for the HP Deskjet 2460, so I wouldn't suggest buying anything else. First of all it might not fit and second, even if it fits, other issues may come with using those. If you can't see the list here it is:
HP 21 Black HP 21 Black Twinpack HP 21/22 Black/Color Combo HP 21/22 Quad Pack HP 22 Tri-color Twinpack HP 22 Tricolor HP 58 Photo

Am trying to install HP 60 ink cartridges in my wife's F4280 printer. They don't seem to easily fit. Is there a readable graphic to assist me?

You have the wrong cartridges, that model uses the 300 or 300XL cartridge http://www.internet-ink.co.uk/hp-ink-cartridges-f4280/

I bought my hp deskjet f4280 over 2years ago and i kept it without using it. It was brought today and i discovered that is not printing. The resume red button is blinking. Several test pages were sent to...

well, i would guess that you are using the ink cartridges that came with it.
The ink actually has an expiration date like food, and more thab likely the ink has dried up. If the printer is reading the ink levels, is may count them as being empty.
Try getting new ink and see if that works, as that is most likely the cause of the fault.

I have a brand new ink cartridge from walmart and my printer which is a Hp deskjet F4280 all in one printer keeps displaying an E. what can be done to get the printer to print normally?

Remove the shipping tape from the cartridge head. Recommend using a genuine HP cartridge - third party cartridges are really not designed for HP printers.

F4280 DeskJet All In One Printer InkJet: There is ink in cartridges, ink light display's em...

First make sure you are placing the right
color cartridge into the right slot.
Most Printers are touchy about the
installation of ink cartridges. If the
instructions say to press the cartridge
into the slot until you hear a loud click,
that's what they mean. If at first you
don't succeed, remove the cartridge and
reinsert it into the slot again and press
on it hard till it clicks.
Then your printer should work properly.
Hope this is of some help. Bud

How do I get my deskjet F4283 to accept a refilled cartridge?

You just need to re-install the cartridge as if it was a new one.
The printer should treat it as if it was a new cartiridge and reset ink levels in the system.

Sometimes it's cheeper to get a printer on sale than buying cartarages,

However remove the ink cartarages and clean the print heads off, sometimes this works.

Verify thay have ink.

and to save a little money get a referb cart off ebay I have had good luck getting cheep ink there

I have a new HP Deskjet F4280 bought 3 weeks ago & the blank ink cartridge was empty & I refilled it in a store & placed it back but printer recognise that the cartridge is empty & it does not have a chip.

You cannot reset the ink level for the HP 60 ink cartridge. Simply ignore the ink level indicator if you refill your cartridges. It is only an estimate of the ink level anyway. See pg 72 of the user manual.
