Question about NZXT GUARDIAN ATX Mid-Tower Case

Can't turn on Computer

Hi, I have bought this computer, and I tried to use it to build a computer using an Asus M2N32-SLI Deluxe motherboard, an AMD AM2 4600+ CPU (Dual Core) and a HIS X1950XTX. The problem is that the power won't turn on. After I turn on a 550W power supply that came with the case, the light on my motherboard lights up, but when I press the power button on the front of my case, nothing happens. Also, I'm fairly certain I have attached all the cables correctly.

Re: Can't turn on Computer

Have you attached the CPU power cable from the PSU to the CPU power terminal next to the CPU. Double check you have the power and reset connectors tthe correct way around.

The hard drive would not show up until you initialize it in the control panel. With everything off the motherboard you should get some post beep. Put the ram back and try again, the next thing to install is the video to see if there is any indication of function. Keep adding things back. If there is no post beep with just the motherboard then you need to test the PSU and if it is OK then CPU or motherboard is bad.

IDE-1 means Pri slave
IDE-2 means Sec master

Wiring manual for a thermalrock oceandome

Go here for complete motherboard support : Click on the + next to manual and it will take you here :  . Scroll down near the bottom of page to this copy : 'P4P800-E Deluxe User's manual for English Version E1867". Download a copy of the PDF file to file for reference.  I checked this manual and it has all the information you need, but you will have to quietly study it, and then print or  take down all the required information you need on paper, as you will have to turn off tthe PC and power to make all the wiring connections to the motherboard. Cheers,  geonz72.

Wont fit the backport of the case

Today, the cases come with a 'generic' back port that pops out for specific motherboards. The Asus board should have come with a metal plate that replaces the case's version, and lines up the ports.

Expasion slots don't line up with motherboard card slots

When you buy Motherboard there's a back plate included in the box, you don't have to drill the plate.

If the palte not included in the box you can buy it also where you purchased your Mobo.
