Try going to settings and adjust the color settings, contrast etc. It is possible the set is damaged. If you bought it with a Visa or mastercard it automatically doubles the manufacturer warranty. they also have a great deal on extended warranty plans. Just call the number on the back and ask for Card benefit services or tell them you want an extended warranty.
Make sure your contrast isn't set too high. Most ghosting is caused by either contrast, brightness or tint issues. Try adjusting these settings. Also check if there is a Dynamic contrast setting for your TV as well as this can cause ghosting also.
one of three things here--if was normal before moved you may have a bad solder connection on the circuit board at the end of the picture tube--happens with age as connections can come loose.
The set MAY have adjustable controls on that board for drives and screens(red, green, and blue) that can be adjusted.
The set may only also have those in a hidden menu.
Considering age of set and cost for a replacement it might be better to replace it if none of above options are something you can try.
go to the manufacture website and look up your model of remote. Then program your remote to the tv. If you have done this then this next part is just for you. Usually u can adjust all the tv settings from the menu button. Be sure you are on the right input and AV setting if you can not access these settings then either go to manual operation or follow up with manufacture specs for your tv www.eliztech.com/remotes/ge-howto.php
