Question about Acer Aspire 4315-2490 Notebook
I have the following problem with my Acer Asire 4315. It came with 80gb harddisk and 1 gb ram. However 40BG is reserved for back ups and is thereotically invisible. So I only have 40GB minus 25GB. And vista is taking a lot of GB even when surfing on internet.
My question: How to reopen this second D partition that is used by Acer Empowered Technology?
I hope you can give me a useful answer.
the backup partition, is used for system restore et,c.
You should really leave this intact.
Your options are, to purchase an additional external hard-drive.
Or to backup all drivers, used by the computer. Re-format the drive. setup the Vista software, if you have the Vista Software. Which is unlikely with a shop purchased computer.
you will then have the full sized partition, but no restore partition. Unless you use re-partitioning software after formatting the logical drive.
Hope this solves your dilema.
thankyou for using Fixya.
