Hi, this is Derrick again the model to my ge nautilus is gsd2600g00cc. Ive tried to use the links that you provided but im not sure what im looking for. I tried the diagram but it doesnt show where the spring is attached to other than the white lever. I guess I just need to get a look at the complete assembled timer with all the pieces hooked to it or something. Again thanks for helping in my obvious time of need. If there are any links that you may know where I can get a pic of the assembled part or a tutorial anything will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanx,

    Derrick

Hello Derrick,
I learned a long time ago that a picture is worth a thousand words and that before attempting any repair, I typically take several digital shots as a backup and in case I forget where things went. I know that won't help you now but it may in the future.. Especially since digital cameras are so cheap.. I'll poke around and see if I can find you a shot for you to use as a reference but you may be better off going to a local appliance repair place and pose the same question ..If you are lucky.. they will have something to look at and I would take pictures too. ( BTW: I have one of those wives too..LOL) see if this link helps you my friend.. http://www.pcappliancerepair.com/model-display.php

Item #837 is the spring.. hopefully that will give you enough to get you thru it..
Regards
Rick

Hello darawsin,
Since you didn't specify the particular model number, it is difficult to provide you with specific details. Please use this link to the GE website to find product information... http://www.geappliances.com/service_and_support/literature/
Here is an alternate site that may help you too.. but .. you will need to provide the specific model number for any detailed information..

Hope this helps..
Regards,
Rick

Where are the fuses in the nautilus dishwasher

I do not believe there are fuses inside the dishwasher.
When the Use and Care Manual mentions a fuse (Fuse is blown, or the circuit breaker tripped), it is referring to the Fuse Panel/Circuit Breaker Panel.
What problem are you experiencing?

When I took the timer off of the door to replace it, a white lever that connects with a black lever which both together help open and close the soap door came off, along with a spring. I can't for the...

Explanation I am afraid may not work right unless you calm down and sit in fron of te unit with the lever and spring to be pushed back to the slot. This is the triger for the soap dispenser when the timer come to this program- it initiates the lever to dipense the soap. So use logic with time and you CAN do it if you can replace the timer. However if this is not there that function will not work and hence the cleaning may not be good.
Imagine the function, and piece the items to put the puzzle right.
The lever is for the link to open and the spring for it to come back.
Hope this helps . Good day

Dishwasher won't start

If your dishwasher doesn't work at all, check these:

Power from the house
Door switch
Wiring
Timer or selector switch
Power from the house Is there power getting to the dishwasher? This can be difficult to test, because dishwashers are usually wired directly to an electrical circuit, rather than plugged into the wall. But at least check for a blown fuse or a tripped circuit breaker.

Door switch The door switch is important because, if it's defective, the dishwasher won't work at all. To reach it, you need to remove the control panel cover, or sometimes the interior liner of the door. If it's defective, you need to completely replace it.

Wiring Often the main wiring connection from the house, at the dishwasher, burns and breaks the connection. If that's the problem, the wires must be repaired/replaced as necessary. If that's not the problem, check the wiring to the door switch, the wiring between the door and the lower part of the dishwasher, and the wiring to the timer. Repair any broken, burned, brittle, or defective wiring, using the proper appliance-grade wire and connectors.

Timer or selector switch Although it's uncommon, the timer or the selector switch may be defective. If so, you need to replace the defective part, because neither of these can be repaired.

GE Nautilus detergent cap will not open

Sometimes these get gunked up and need to be coaxed....so take a butter knife...insert it in the edge of the dispenser tray...pry gently...all the while turning the timer control knob...it should pop open at one point if not try a little more pressure...and once open .clean thoroughly..if it persists you may have a timer or control panel issue...also use factory recommended soaps...

I hope this helps...Good Luck and Good day....thank you for rating my effort.....The Fang.

GE Nautilus Dishwasher - The soap door is stuck partcially open

Advance the timer, with one hand on the dispenser door. The timer should release the door at times during it's cycle, it may need a little help, but not very hard to turn.
