As I added on to the previous solution on the other problem.

"Okay, I did what the best solution did and worked with it.

"1. press 2nd F (left top corner)
2. ENG/FIX (the button next to 2nd F)
3. press 0 (if you don't want calculator to round off any decimals)"

In order to get your exact value of pi, in step #3, instead of 0, press the decimal [ . ]
This should give you no decimals when entering a number and give you 3.141592654... when you input pi.
Hope that works/helps."

SOURCE: lost manual

First clear all w/ ON/AC.
Enter the tax rate desired eg. 7 for 7% (can you tell I'm in PA)
Press RATE then TAX+
Press C/CE.
The next time you use TAX+ it will calculate and add the value that you set.
Do the same for TAX-, you can use a different value for each as they are separate memories.

SOURCE: canon mp27d manual is lost

Hello.

So sorry, but Canon has not produced a manual or user guide for your calculator.

All you have available is a product brochure, found here:

http://downloads.canon.com/cpr/software/calculator/Full_Line_Calculator_Brochure_2007.pdf

If you look on page 58, you'll find some info about your calculator.

Hope this helps.

It's not exactly the same, but the manual for the MP27-G should serve.

Try switching between business and tax mode, the little toggle switch at the top of the calculator.

If that doesn't work repost.

Hope that helps

What settings do i put on my canon p29-d iv for it to read with 2 decimal places...thanks

Hi Heidi,

Locate the slide switch with the following under it:

"+ 3 2 1 0 F"

Slide the tab so that the number of places to the right of the decimal point you want shown / printed is above the number - in your case it would be "2". You may also use the "+" setting, which is "add mode" for adding and subtracting 2 digit decimals - and is convenient for currency calculations. These two settings and "F" (floating) are detailed on Page 1 and 2 of the manual - that I have linked below for you:

On my Canon F502G, my a b/c button does not work from decimals to fractions. It will only go fractions to decimals. Is there something I can do to get it going?

If you convert a fraction to decimal and then just after do the opposite it will convert from decimal to fraction. But if you do some other calculations in between it may not do it.

I cant make the decimal mode work (5000=50.00)

At the top of the keypad area, there is a switch with the following above it: +023F. Leave the switch in the + position and it should automatically place the decimal 2 postions, i.e. enter 5000 and the display will show up 50.00.
