Won't turn on

It seems to be working now....I am keeping my fingers crossed. Being that my technology skills leave something to be desired, I fixed it the old fashioned way. Took the batteries out, blew hard into the battery space, put the battery back in and said a little prayer. It turned right on....

Olympus VN-3100PC Voice Recorder Problem

The ERR message can only be corrected by holding in the DISP/MENU and STOP buttons for two seconds, which results in all the material on the recorder being erased. It will say (FOR) for a few minutes while it is erasing everything, then will work again. Solution found at http://www.amazon.co.uk/Olympus-VN-2100-Digital-Recorder-microphone/dp/B000V3NTEU

Can't locate driver

Try this:
http://www.olympus-europa.com/consumer/2590_software.cfm?
category=0&productgroup=347&product=415&os=7&result=

Cut and paste - all one line - hope it works. (I could find nothing under DRIVERS but the SOFTWARE install works for me.)

i use XP - your OS may be different - just alter the fields on the web page.

Good Luck

How do I Change from default language back to English?

I received this response from the european Olypus support group :- Turn recorder on - Press STOP, FOLDER and MENU buttons and hold all of them for about 3 seconds or until display changes - then press PLAY button and that resets the recorder back to English. Olympus Digital Imaging Support Group
