Question about Lexmark PC Desktops
If the printer is connected directly to your computer and you want others to use it through your computer, you have to set it up as a network computer for remote access.
Your computer has to be on when other want to print.
You set up your network settings to allow printer and file sharing
then you go to printers and set it for sharing.
You have to config things based off the network you have.
If the printer has a network card, then you can plug it into the network directly and anyone can print to it as long as the printer is on.
You set up the printer through it IP. Us your main computer to install the drivers first, then go to install printers and follow the guid to locate your printer on the network. You will probably have to install the drivers on each P.C or laptop.
Now if you have absolutely no idea how to do any of this and are not inclined to try, then i wold suggest googling how to setup a network printer as well as reading the paper work that came with it, as alot of times they have the instructions in there.
Because going through step by step without being there would take me forever.
