Ps2 is not reading disc

Hi,

Steps to Try:-
1) ensure the disks underside is clean of Fingerprints/Scratches et,c.
2) Clean the laser head, with a cd/dvd disk cleaner.
3) Try different types of Software/Media i.e CD/DVD et,c. this will determine the lasers strength, or whether it,s completely worn out.
4) Finally try different types of Game, Most PS2s play silver underside disks ( Platinum ) And Black ( Dark DVDs )
