It does sound as if the graphics processor of the video card has died but I suggest downloading the lastest driver for that card on the off chance it is simply a software hiccough.

If, after installing an updated driver it is still there, you might try changing the resolution via the Control Panel/Display, to see if the anomalies change in dimensions but this won't cure anything, only confirm that the card is at fault.

Please check the connection between the logic board and the LCD panel T-CON board, also check for cold solder joints on the circuit boards. Notes: it is not easy to get to the cable. It can be bad LCD panel.

My NEC Multisync LCD 2080ux + has developed a weak display which makes text harder to read. I have adjusted the ATI Radion 9600 graphics card with no success. Any ideas?

One thing that will affect how clear the display is if the monitors resolution is set to the wrong value. your monitor must be set at at its native resolution of 1600x1200. Any other value will result in a degraded display.

This issue is caused by missing drivers. You may need to install the drivers (Video card drivers and the Display drivers), the setup will set the adequate resolution for the display so the images will be displayed correctly.

LCD monitor have Vertical lines and black colour become greenish

normally the 19" resolution can support up to 1280*1024, but if it comes with vertical lines in full screen, it might indicate the panel is no longer to work and probably it's time to replace new one.

Black colour displaying become greenish and narrow vertical lines

Most LCD monitors have a default refresh rate of 60 Hz. Older monitors also have limited resolution. Please check your display settings and ensure you're not using a refresh rate higher than 60, or a resolution higher than what it supports. If either one is the case, you're lucky the LCD still works.

Vertical lines more or less... baclk is grey and blured

It could be a bad connection somewhere. Try checking: -Where the video cable plugs into the PC. Remove and check for bent pins, corrosion and replace and firmly reconnect using the thumbscrews on the connector. -Where the video cable plugs into the monitor. Some LCD monitors have removable cables some don?t; if yours does follow the same procedure outlined above. -Could be a problem with an internal connection. A quick test and perhaps even fix would be to grasp the right and left sides of your display while it is on (displaying the offensive lines) and gently twist like you were wringing out a towel. Again, and I emphasize, gently using only a couple of ounces of force. Watch to see if the lines disappear, get worse of make the screen flash or change. If you do then its likely cause is the connector from the LCD panel to the electronics has oxidation or a loose connection. If you?re lucky the flexing might even fix your problem, if not you will have to take it apart to find out exactly what is going on. If that doesn?t work then the next thing to try is connecting the display on another computer to see if it also displays the same lines. If the lines are still there then the problem is in your display and depending on its value and your finances you might consider taking it to a repair shop for an estimate. If the lines are gone take it back to the original PC to see if the lines reappear. If they do then I would suspect your video card or drivers as the likely candidate.
