My T-mobile Dash takes forever (about two minutes) between pressing to power it on and the time it's ready to make a call or open an application. And it continues to operate extremely slowly, with a significant lag in just about every process you ask it to perform. Unfortunately, this was not an all-of-a-sudden thing; it's acted like this pretty much the whole time I've had the phone (a year). I have attributed it to Windows, which I don't like in any version (mobile or not), but I hear Windows Mobile 6 operates much more quickly on other phones. Is this a typical problem with the Dash, or is there something in particular that can be done to improve performance?

Keep your text messages folder cleared, erase all unwanted programs, and not to run so many programs in the background at once..

My screen on the top half is faded and on the bottem half it is fine, normally clear. how can I fix this?

Good day sir, the problem is rather complicated, the LCD screen is either loose or the board is defective, you have a choice of doing it or visit a local service center. I suggest you visit your local phone dealer first for proper advice on your phone.

Now if you want to do it, you need to dissassemble you phone and get to the LCD, check for improper or loose connection, check for cracks and dirt, test the LCD and clean the board, reassemble and test again. do it several times until the unit works. If not,you need to swap boards of the same model to isolate the problem. you need another good working LCD of the same type. Hope this helps.

My t-mobil dash does not re-start properly and frezes

The T-mobile dash is know for doing stuff like this. Have you tried doing the Master reset. Here is a guide i've used on mine.

Mine has frozen and constantly rebooted. Both problems were solved with the master reset.

T mobile dash turns off

Suggest that if you got the phone through T-Mobile, return it and get a different brand altogether.

I have been having the same problem with my phone which I have had for about 14 months and since it is out of warranty, there is nothing that can be done. Suggestions from getting a new battery to getting a new charger have been made. I have replaced battery and charger and still no fix. To use, I have to be plugged in at all times. I am faced with having to buy a new phone.

do a sw reset....its possible it was damaged when it was dropped in the water, but not likey....

turn the phone off, press and hold the soft keys (buttons with the lines on them above the home key and back arrow key) and hold it the power button while you are doing that until the white t-mobile screen will come on, then instead of going to the green windows mobile screen, a black screen with white the green will get you in your phone but it will erase your info as a result....

Wet dash

There's still water in it. You'll need to take the battery out and let it dry another two days. I got my phone wet one time and it took a week before it worked again.
