NX-3000 Flickering Problems

I Have a HP Compaq 6715s with an ATI Radion Graphics Card and im having the same problem with flickering on the bottom of the screen, however it seems to stop on the lowest resolution.

Does anyone have ideas on how to sort this out as its driving me insane?

I have the Microsoft Lifecam 3000 webcam and it is flickering at the bottom of the screen. However it stops whenI put it on the lowest resolution. How can I fix this?

Hi,
I had the same problem with a lifecam nx-500. The problem solved when I installed a new PCI card with 4 USB ports. I put on one of that ports the camera and worked fine. Obvious there was a problem with the integrated M/B USB ports. Do the same. Supply with a simple PCI USB card.

Check your display settings and make sure the color is set at 32 bit true color. Do this by going to your desktop screen, right click, then click on the 'settings' tab and make it as high as possible. try that first

HP Compaq Business Notebook nx9000 Series Specifications
From the specifications 128mb ram and graphic card ATI Mobility Radeon graphics accelerator with 16- or 32-MB DDR graphics memory, 4x AGP graphics capability i dont think that you can install windows 7 in that model and in case that you finally install the windows 7 you will get something unstable and practical not functional.

ATI radion 512mb AGP graphics card driver

You can find drivers for your graphics card at the following link:

http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx

The category and your description don't quite match up, but if you have a Radeon X1050, then the following applies:

Step 1: Desktop Graphics
Step 2: Radeon X Series
Step 3: Radeon X1xxx Series
Step 4: Your operating system

Change the appropriate steps if that is not your graphics card.

try updating the drivers. Try a recovery if possible . But if the same happens on the bios screen as well then it may a screen problem or graphics card problem .

How to solve Flickering problem of LCD

I have an Acer 5920G that's only 3 months old and it's screen started flickering. Updating or rolling back the graphics card driver made no difference. I then updated the Chipset driver from the Acer website. It hasn't flickered since!
The graphics info has to pass through the chipset so I assume the driver wasn't up to the job.

The graphics card might not be working in sync with your processor. Get it checked WHY this is happening. Probably a faulty connection somewhere. See if you can find one before getting it checked.
