How to connect speakers to RCA model #RP-8070D

This unit is just a 5 disc CD player and cannot drive large speakers all by itself. Normally it is hooked up to a stereo receiver / amplifier which is what provides the power to drive the speakers which are wired to the back of the stereo amplifier.

If you have a home stereo, then just run the cables from the 2 AUDIO OUT connectors on the back of your CD player to the CD IN connectors on the back of your stereo.

Then turn your stereo on and select CD on your stereo input mode selector and you should be able to play the cds on your RCA and hear them through the stereo speakers.

If you do not have a stereo amplifier with speakers to connect it to, then you can always listen to it through headphones connected to the headphone jack.

Or if you have a set of self powered amplified speakers, like the kind you hook up to a computer, then you can run the AUDIO OUT cable from your cd player into those as well.

Good luck.

I have a Sony STR-DE995 receiver and surround speakers set up. However, most music material is not multi-channel. Is it possible to configure the unit so the rear speakers get the normal L-R stereo. I...

Stereo source material can actually sound pretty interesting when various DSP surround modes are applied to them.

Or you could seek out some multichannel music. Look on eBay for Super Audio CD's, DTS-CD's, Dual-Disc or DVD-Audio. Though these formats died on the retail battlefield they still can be found and will demonstrate some awesome capabilities of your receiver. I have about 100 of them.

Pioneer MT2000 Stereo M-error message for CD

it might be new cd's they have come long ways older players are not excepting newer cd's for some odd reason maken you go out and up grade your players
(thats just wrong)
but try this put in one of your older cd's if it plays that then its the new format cd's that just came out
i havent heard of conversioned cd's dvd's yet but everything bought in 2007 new or older than 2007 is being outsourced to new source cd's dvd's
my opinion if old cd's work then your going to have to upgrade to better system

PACKARD BELL CD/RADIO/MP3 PLAYER. MODEL PB OP 10

This is not for connecting an MP3 player, but rather for playing MP3-CD's. Using your computer and a CD burner, you can burn a CD with up to about ten hours worth of MP3s on it. The procedure for creating the disc varies depending on your burning software. In Nero, for example, you would select "Music" and then "MP3 Disc" and then select the songs you want to put on the disc. For other software you just select "burn a data disc" and then select the MP3 files you want.

Once you have a CD full of MP3s, put it in the Packard-Bell stereo's CD player, and you will be able to play all the MP3 files that are on the CD. THe advantage, of course, is being able to put ten hours on one CD instead of only 80 minutes.
