You need to get the correct and full data settings from whatever network provider the sim card is registered to, then make sure when they arrive to your mob. that you go into options of the data txt and install. This should/will sort out your issues.

My samsung galaxy proclaim will not let me make calls {not registered in network} cant send texts or recieve text says no signal found for mobile networks no network connection . facebook works fine

Hello Kay

Your smartphone is two devices in one.

1. A phone that makes calls and sends text messages via over air signals via a cellular provider on a contract or pay as you go.

2. A device that can access the internet in two ways
2a. via your cellular carrier using a data plan.
2b. via a wifi connection using someone else's internet connection.

So yes, Facebook works fine via wifi, but you have no cellular network set up. Contact a cellular provider, sort out a contract and they will give you a SIM card to put in the phone and then your calls, text and data will work.

I cannot send or recieve pictures in my text messages, files will not download or send....It worked fine and now it just wont work....What can I do?

Sounds like the problem is specifically with MMS messages, messages that use data (your regular text text messages do not). Is your data cutoff? Do they send/receive if you connect to WiFi? Have you gone over your data and does your device have sufficient storage space?

Why can't I recieve text messages from other cell phones?

I had this problem once with another cell and I found out that some of the text messages from other phones, like the LG and PDA phones send with kilobytes that are needed to be "downloaded" through a multi-media package or internet access. If you are able to send texts and they receive them, check with your carrier.
Also, try shutting the phone off and restarting.

Let me know if this helps.

I have a samsung g800 and when im on the phone i cant read my text messages how could i fix that

When you are on a call, if for some reason you need to look at txt messages you can just politely tell your caller to hold a sec, then press options and there will be a list of settings, one of to go to messages. Or another way is while you are on the call just press the "C" button inbetween the call send/call end buttons, untill you get the desktop on then go into menu/messages. carefull not to press call end though or else your partner will think that you deliberately hung up on them..... Not good that one.
I hope this helps you.
