Question about Car Audio Receivers
The dashboard lights on our Ford Galaxy (2002) have gone off completely. Windscreen wipers come on and won't go off unless I switch off engine. There appears to be a fuse problem but not sure how to what to do. The rear wiper came on today and wouldn't go off. Can you help??
I am quite handy with cars so if you can tell me which fuse to replace, I will have a go?? If thats the problem of course??

You need to remove th whole inst. cluster to replace the bulbs that are located on the BACK side in bulb carriers. Usually turning a 1/4 turn to the left reomves the carries in order to replace the bulbs. Some manufactuers, you have to replace the bulb carrier/socket and bulb as a unit , others just pull the bulb and replace with the SAME type bulb as removed. Most instrument carriers will have on the back what the particular bulb in a specific position is used for by a symbal and the wattage for the also ie: 2.5, which is 2.5 watts. In remove ing the cluster be very careful removeing the connectors from the back. There are certain ways each has to be released to come off but usally can only go in a certain location in the cluster, just make a mental note to yourself has you disconnect them and you will be fine. unhook black wire from harness and the ground from pioneer unit install the ground wire from pioneer unit to frame of car (you may need extra wire to do this) make sure the black wire from pioneer unit is bolted to frame of car not to the harness black wire........fuses will no longer blow and you will have your lights.
hope this helped

well that has nothing to do with the stereo but ill help all i can. That is the enigne light on that car i do belive maybe O2 sensor went bad or EGR valve PCV valve ect its more than likely emissions system related IF THAT IS THE ENGINE LIGHT ON THAT CAR. if its not your enging light either way the best place to have diagnostics ran on your car is the dealership. should cost 105 dollars per system. like the electrical cooling emissions driveability ect.
