Turning on a wireless!!! on an Evesham Voyager 8615 GTK

Turning on a wireless!!! pls help..urgent!? Right, i have an Evesham Voyager 8615 GTK, and i used to use it about two yrs ago, wireless and everything, i remember it was a problem figuring out how to connect wirelessly, andi actually thought there was no WiFi card on it...which i checked, and there is, and i installed a wireless adapter anyway, and it said there was a conflict wiht the inbuilt one...and since then, i dont know what actually happenned, but the wireless worked!!....
now my current computer's down and i have to use my evesham for now, and i desperately need the internet, which i can only do wirelessly...how do i get the wireless working again?? i've tried Fn + F2 which is how your supposed to enable and disable it, and nothing happens. i've tried going through control panel -> connect to network...but it only gives the option of ethernet connections..???

pls help..i need ideas....and if someone can give me a link of any use..pls do...i've tried looking for this model and noone seems to have it, there are no reviews, nothing!! and Evesham don't exist anymore! **stards!!
thanx guys

look in device manager under network adapters to make sure you have a wireless device...also look for any exclamation marks next to the device and check that the device is enabled...let me know whats there

You can also try uninstalling the network adapters, reboot your pc and it should automatically reinstall them correctly.

I wonder if the motherboard has bluetooth integrated or I have to put an external bluetooth devise

One way to find out:
Click on the start button > right click on 'computer' > choose properties > (top left) device manager > you will see a list of drivers
Bluetooth should be near the top
IF you don't see Bluetooth, you will need to purchase an external Bluetooth receiver.

Does it actually have a wireless network adapter? Check the network adapter settings. Does it show both LAN and wireless? If it does you may need to use one of the Function keys to launch the interface to turn on the wireless.

How to turn on bluetooth on acer aspire 5535

According to the manual, "Located beside the keyboard are application buttons. These buttons are called easy-launch buttons. They are: WLAN, Internet, email, Bluetooth, Arcade and
Acer Empowering Technology." Pressing the Bluetooth button should toggle Bluetooth on or off, assuming the correct drivers are installed.

How do i turn my bluetooth on?acer aspire 5044wlmi

For Acep Aspire 504x model systems that have Bluetooth built in, there is an on/off switch located in the front of the system.

For systems with bluetooth built in there will be two buttons next to each other just left of the mic and headphone ports.

The left of the 2 buttons is the bluetooth switch and the right of the 2 buttons is for 802.11 wireless.

If you only have 1 button then you do not have bluetooth built-in. You can also check to see if bluetooth is included by looking at the bottom, if Bluetooth is installed there will be a white FCC lebel with the name Bluetooth written on it.

Is it equipped with bluetooth? Do a search for bluetooth on your computer and it should bring up the bluetooth icon. Go "start", "search", then "all files", and type in bluetooth and search.

How do I start bluetooth on the qosmio g25-av13?

Try the ff:

1. Are you also using a wireless internet? If you are and you cannot also connect on wireless, make sure that the wireless is enabled on your laptop. On the left side of the laptop there is a on/off switch push the switch to on. (beside the usb port).

2. if it is already on, make sure that the bluetooth is enabled also, you can check it on control panel, system, hardware, device manager, bluetooth, right click on bluetooth driver, if you see enable bluetooth click on it, if you see"disable bluetooth" that means it is already enabled.

3. If the above is already configured, lastly, look for the bluetooth icon (bluetooth manager) on the lower part of the screen on the taskbar/tray if you see the bluetooth icon, right-click on it then click "Enable Bluetooth Radio". Now, if there is no bluetooth icon on the tray at the lower right of the screen, go to Start, Toshiba, Bluetooth, Bluetooth Settings, inside the Bluetooth SEttings, click on Bluetooth, Options, CLick on Enable Bluetooth Power, also, inside the Tray Icon (still inside Bluetooth Settings) select an icon so you can always see the status of your bluetooth on the Tray and you don;t need to do and check everything everytime you cannot connect via Bluetooth.

Hope this helps.
